The Corporate Dare – Saying No to Record and Transcribe

This is a very simple experiment, one based on the thought in the-worrying-convergence-are-we-automating-1984. Group think is a since long proven mechanism (wikpedia on groupthink). I can’t help there is a problem with a setting where you have partners, managers as well as customers in the same digital room, sometimes 10-15 persons or even more, and the question is asked – Is it ok if we record this?

The question for this experiment, if I dare to be this uncomfortable in a work setting, is simply this: What happens if someone says no when asked if it is ok to record and transcribe a meeting at work?
